Proofreading service: a fluid document
Proofreading consists of correcting spelling, grammatical, syntactic, and typographical errors in an existing text – in French, English, or any other language – in order to create a document that is fluid and mistake free, and ready for your next step (e.g.: publication and/or translation).
Revision service: a coherent document based on comparison
Revision is a more advanced process. It is a process of improving the homogeneity and consistency of an existing translation (target version translated in-house or outsourced) by comparing it to your original source document and, if necessary, correcting the phraseology and terminology, misinterpretations and mistranslations, added or omitted text, as well as mistakes, big or small.
